🏏 Dji Phantom 4 Camera Not Working
Firmware upgrade not successful. I am so frustrated and have stopped myself a couple of times from throwing this machine against the wall. When I tried to fly the P3P over the last month or so and it said I needed a new "firmware upgrade" and I also needed a "camera upgrade". But to try and find the right file applicable to the update requests
On a separate flight, the camera disconnected while ~1500' away. It said no image transmission but the position and other diagnostics were still being relayed. I landed and restarted the aircraft and the camera came back up. Not sure why these happened but both are scary when flying and I am quickly losing trust in the aircraft.
i had S800,900,1000 with Z15 and Phantom 1,2,3,4 and inspire1 v1. also i help to setup my friends dji unit more than 50unit. But my new X5R very strange and i never seen before.getting worth and worth drift to right. now she looking around 70-80deg right. other axis is ok (tilt & roll) also gimbal working normal except yaw drift.
turn on vision+, extender, smartphone, dji vision app, see blank live video screen. using notebook/pc connect to Wi-Fi network "Phantom_xxxxx". ping 192.168.1.2. If ping succesfull, your wifi-extender is alive and can connect to Phantom's Wi-Fi (binding is ok).
When you're ready, launch the DJI Assistant 2 software and the DJI Phantom 4 should be recognised. Double-click the icon and you can then select "Firmware Upgrade" on the left-hand panel.

Dji support said uninstall app and re-install as they had "fixed" some bugs. Have done that today. Now I do not get option to "Enter Camera View" at all, View attachment 3302 Tablet is a Samsung S 8.4, not perfect but used to work. Firmware latest.
Calibrating the gimbal is a quick and easy procedure that can be done both on the DJI GO 4 or DJI Assistant 2. The gimbal calibration process is virtually the same for the Mavic and the Phantom.
