🐹 Guild Wars 2 How Long To Level 80
Leveling in GW2 is actually a lot easier and faster than I've found in any other MMO. Crafting is an alright way to gain a few levels, but if you're a new player it's generally too expensive to do. In Guild Wars you should definitely be able to do events that are a little higher leveled than yourself.
Your best way is to join a HP (Hero Point) train in any of the expansion maps. To find one either keep an eye in map chat, ask in map chat for help, or look in the Looking for Group (LFG) tab under the map you were trying to get them off of. Each Expansion HP gives you 10 points rather than 1. In order to get into the maps you either have to
It does not take that long to reach level 80 (maybe 24 hours played on a first character at most). Finish the first PoF mission to get the raptor unlocked for your account as a movement help. Try to pick a class which appeals to you:
Then early this year I decided to make Warbringer, that requires you to reach level 400, so I grinded a bit (having good WvW guilds and friends help tremendously). Got there, then felt like might as well make the legendary armor set a long-term goal.
It's very slightly faster to craft for levels at the end. A difference of 20 minutes at most, but very slightly. EotM gives % of a level from events, and flat xp for killing things.
Elementalist right now is probably one of the hardest classes to play. Their high end DPS is tops, but very difficult to execute. I think the top dps parse for them is north of 50k. But the average players in same gear and spec are getting about 30k. So skill for this class is a difference of 20k dps.
Each Superior Rune costs 120 Deadly Blooms, so as long as you do 2 runs per day, you could get all 6 in less than a week. TA isn't too difficult, and if you get a good party each run would take ~30 minutes. Power doesn't necessarily affect condition damage, but it's more so there to act as a multiplier for your total damage output.
But birthday boots, plus 15g for cooking and jewels for 15-20 levels, and a few knowledge times will get you to lv 80 within a single Day. If you have any lv 40 or above bday boosts. 1. r/Guildwars2.
Daily Login Chests will be gone. Alt Account farmers in Shambles. Multiple Accounts will actually have to play the game. The daily login has not disappeared, you will get 5 points from the new system just for logging in, and 10 for each daily quest. But now you can only focus on buying mystic coins.
I've seen some sites saying that you can level from 1 to 80 in 30 hours approximately. Is that accurate, because that seems very, very quick to me? I currently run, if it makes any difference, a Guardian is it? I'm new to the classes, but I like being able to both DPS and Self Heal.
Map complete is not the fastest way to level. Killing creatures with high level bonus is considerably faster. It's quite easy to get a level every 10 minutes doing this, more if you use more buffs. The downside is that it's not as engaging as other content. Bonus experience accrues when a creature isn't killed for a long period of time.
I started playing Guild Wars 2 about 2 weeks ago and recently reached level 80. I played Guild Wars 1 for years and absolutely loved it. But reading the level 80 tips on this subreddit, I'm struck by a few things: I know nothing about crafting in any form (Guild Wars 1 was SO MUCH MORE STREAMLINED) I have no idea how to proceed with my character.
